Share Your Experience

Share Your Experience

This platform exists to give people a voice and document patterns in cross-border healthcare intermediary-led arrangements. You can submit your experience in a safe, structured way.

What we’re collecting

We’re collecting first-hand experiences from individuals who have interacted with healthcare intermediaries (sometimes described as coordinators, facilitators, consultants, or brokers) in cross-border medical care.

  • What you were told, what you paid, and what happened
  • How responsibilities were described (intermediary vs clinic/hospital)
  • Refund, cancellation, or dispute outcomes (if relevant)
  • Any patterns you noticed (pressure, urgency, shifting terms, lack of follow-up)

How to submit (keep it factual)

The most useful submissions are clear timelines with supporting material. We encourage calm, factual descriptions rather than conclusions or accusations.

Use this structure (copy/paste into your submission)

  1. Date range: (e.g., Month/Year to Month/Year)
  2. What you were seeking: treatment type / service (keep general)
  3. How you found the intermediary: ad / search / referral / social media
  4. What you were told: key claims, promises, guarantees (quote if possible)
  5. Payments: amounts, dates, method, who was named as recipient (if known)
  6. Documents you received: invoice, contract, emails, WhatsApp, call summaries
  7. What happened next: timeline of events and outcomes
  8. Where things became unclear: responsibility, refunds, changing terms, follow-up
  9. Current status: resolved / unresolved / dispute ongoing

Supporting material (optional but helpful)

  • Screenshots of emails/messages (with personal details removed)
  • Invoices, receipts, payment confirmations
  • Terms & conditions / refund policies
  • A short call log (dates + what was said)

Tip: If you can, redact names, addresses, passport numbers, medical record numbers, and other identifiers before sharing.

You can submit anonymously. If you provide any identifying details, we will treat them as private and will not publish them without your explicit consent.

  • We aim to anonymise submissions before publishing
  • We will not publish personal contact details
  • We do not publish sensitive medical identifiers
